Silv'ry Moon Lodge is situated on the
scenic South Shore of Trout Lake and offers a simply quiet getaway, for the
avid fisherman and families. Trout Lake is 15 Miles long, 45 miles of beautiful shore line, is well marked for shoals, with numerous islands and bays to fish, explore, have a shore lunch or pick blueberries. Seldom does the lake get too rough to fish. For the fishermen, a good variety of fish species are found in Trout Lake, including Northern Pike, Pickerel ( Walleye), Large and Small Mouth Bass, Muskie and Lake Trout. Children's favorite pan fish can be had from shore ensuring a happy day, along with frog catching. Silv'ry Moon Lodge offers Clean comfortable housekeeping cabins and a small Camping area for Tent & Trailers. Our Boats are 14' Lund boats with 15h.p. Johnson motors for reliability. All boats are equipped with padded swivel seats, nets, life jackets and safety equipment. Docking and launch ramp available for guests bringing their own boats. Gas, oil, ice, bait and tackle are also available. Clean your fish in our fully equipped screened in cleaning station with stainless counter and sink with running water. Aside from fishing, Silv'ry Moon Lodge has a safe and sandy beach and playground for families to enjoy. Nature lovers among us - Hike down the trails and old logging roads to see old growth forests, bird watching and canoe along the picturesque shores. Animals you might see on hikes, boating or drives include: Moose, Elk, Deer, Bear, Partridge, Wild turkeys, Eagles, Cranes, Osprey, Hawks, Loons, Otters, Beaver, Mink, Flying squirrels, Chipmunks and numerous types of Ducks, Bring a camera at ALL times. Leisure Activities - Badminton,
volleyball, horseshoes, boating, paddleboat, swimming, canoe, kayak,
socialize or just lounge about and let time disappear. Pot Luck Fish Fry Be sure to save some of those great fish fillets. Our midweek pot luck fish fry social is sure to make your mouth water. Don't forget to bring your favorite dish to share. With an array of salads, desserts and home made bread, the outdoor aroma of fish cooking over an open fire is sure to please even the finest palate. Nestled among the majestic Northern Pines are our 8 log cabins that blend well into the wilderness which surrounds us. We have 2 & 3 bedroom cabins, all facing beautiful Trout Lake with boat docking right out front. Each cabin is Clean, and comfortable, complete with screened porch and outdoor sun deck. Enjoy your own magnificent view with your morning coffee or evening BBQ. Sleep to the lonely cry of the loon and wake refreshed to the birds chirping merrily. There is no Traffic noise here!
